WEEK 0 / DAY 7 - Final Day of Pre-Training



Soooo, we have decided to finally put our ideas into action and make a sales funnel! Now for those of you who don't know what a funnel is, go to YouTube and watch a video of Clickfunnels' founder, Russell Brunson, doing his thang. No doubt you've slid down many a funnel in your adult life without even realising it. Well we want in on that piece of pie!

Today is the final day of pre-training. For the past two weeks we have been all consumed by this funnel business. We have been watching video after video learning more and more, taking a million notes and getting really psyched up. We have been brainstorming our heads off as to how to make the BEST funnel then going away and making voice memos and Notes. While Nathan has been away working on our other business, I was home studying our target market from every angle - Googling what they're into; where do they hang out; what do they read; where do they shop...


Understanding your target market has to be one of the most important keys to success in any type of business. The coaches have really spend this week encouraging us to dig deep into the target market's psyche while also digging deep into our own and changing our belief in ourselves from "I miiiight be able to do this" to "I CAN DO THIS AND I WILL SUCCEED IF I JUST DO THE WORK!" Mindset training is always what the experts harp on about and I have to say, the more I do it, the more I agree. I actually want to make a vision board ASAP.

We want to build an epic funnel that will propel us on our journey out of the rat race and the '9-to-5' bollocks! We want to work SMARTER. We want to make money when we are sleeping; lying on the beach in Hawaii; sitting in a hut listening to Bob in Jamaica... all the time! 24/7 making money. Notice I didn't say "We want to work smarter, not harder"? We don't mind working hard. We just want to be smarter about how we spend our time and effort.

We want to build a package that gives so much value to the consumer that they're happy to pay for our product. We want to over-deliver. We want to make it so it is such good value you'd be stupid to say no. That is our goal. We truly want to help our target market and make money doing it!
This is not trickery it is simply being a great salesperson. A funnel is like going into say, Nike, and getting great service, getting led around the shop, things recommended, things thrown in as a deal, "why don't you try this with that"and a lovely smooth transaction to finish off with a lovely salesperson who asks you to "please come again"...  How nice does that sound?  In comparison, a normal website that sells something 10 screen clicks away is like going into Gucci - it all looks nice and flash but no one even looks up; no one tries to sell you anything; nothing looks like there's any type of good deal or sale, everything is overpriced and so you walk out and leave.

Which shop do you think would sell more stuff? Which shop has more foot traffic? Which shop has a reputation for good service to everyone? Which shop has repeat customers? I tell ya what... It ain't Gucci! Maybe if you're a celebrity or dripping with attitude and diamonds but otherwise nup.  My sister and I went shopping in Beverly Hills - we got ignored in every single shop until we hit Nike. Every. Single. Shop.  Just like Pretty Woman. In Gucci we filmed it secretly as we walked around.. we were touching various bags saying things to each other like "is this leather do you think?" and sniffing the bag haha.. it was so funny. There was literally, without a word of a lie, a guy who followed us at a distance wearing white gloves and repositioning everything we touched... 'twas so funny.
